Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will offer a high-octane viewing, dining and drinking experience for race fans this fall. The rockin’ Strip-side cantina will offer premium viewing and hospitality packages right at turn 14, available from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, Nov. 21 and Friday, Nov. 22, and 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Nov. 23. 

Cabo Wabo’s trackside patio and second-floor event space, known as The LOFT, offer impressive views of Las Vegas Boulevard. Guests will experience the thrill of the race and can dine and drink amongst the action with an all-inclusive premium food and beverage menu. A top-shelf open bar, alongside a rotating menu of flavorful made-to-order appetizers, tacos, pasta and a carving station, will ensure an elevated race experience. Iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, philanthropist and entrepreneur Sammy Hagar will be celebrated with a prestigious Key to the Las Vegas Strip, recognizing his profound economic and charitable impact in Clark County, Nevada. The ceremony will be held at Cabo Wabo Cantina, Hagar’s rockin’ Strip-side restaurant and patio at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4.

This honor commemorates two monumental events: the 15th anniversary of Cabo Wabo Cantina in Las Vegas and Hagar’s 77th birthday, which he will celebrate by bringing his famed “Birthday Bash” to Vegas for the very first time with two sold-out shows at Palms Casino Resort. Cabo Wabo Cantina, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ Strip-side restaurant and patio, located at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, is turning National Tequila Day into a weeklong celebration from Monday, July 22 through Sunday, July 28. 

Cabo Wabo will pour a flight of Hagar and Guy Fieri’s own Santo Tequila to start the fiesta, priced at $27.50. The flight will include a shot of each Santo expression – blanco, reposado and añejo. Cabo Wabo will also feature killer tequila cocktails, including the Tamarind Margarita, crafted with Santo tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec and a house-made tamarind syrup, served on the rocks; and the Cocorita, made with Santo tequila, lime juice and créme of coconut, served on the rocks and rimmed with freshly toasted coconut. El Santo margarita, made with Santo Mezquila, the first tequila-mezcal blend,  brings the heat, combining freshly crushed jalapeños, orange and pineapple juices, chipotle pepper and agave, served on the rocks.

As Las Vegas warms up, Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, is ready to beat the heat with new summer sangrias. The seasonal menu offers traditional rojo and classic blanco sangrias, plus an assortment of palate-pleasing fruit combinations to create eight refreshing options, available now. 

The new sangrias will join Cabo’s rockin’ menu of signature cocktails, each one photo-worthy and sippable while taking in the panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip from the cantina’s patio. The red wine sangria options include the Tarantula, made with Cointreau, mango, orange, lemon and lime; the Rey de Vino, made with brandy, pear and ginger; and the Tesoro, which combines Galiano, Pernod, saffron, strawberry and lemon. The white wine selections include the Borracha, which mixes Midori, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe and lemon; the Scorpion, with blackberry brandy, strawberry and mint leaves; and the Paraiso, featuring Grand Marnier, pineapple, orange, coconut and lime. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will honor Hagar with the 2,779th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, April 30, at 11:30 a.m. PT at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard, adjacent to the iconic Amoeba Music.
