With Shania Twain’s “Come On Over” residency set to return to the Bakkt Theatre at Planet Hollywood, Cabo Wabo Cantina will pay homage to the five-time GRAMMY® Award-winning legend and the best-selling female artist in country music history with the Any Marg of Mine margarita and a special offer for concertgoers, available throughout her residency.
Fans can “come on over” to experience the panoramic views from the catina’s Strip-side patio before or after the concert to sip on the Any Marg of Mine, inspired by the music icon’s love for spicy margaritas. A little sweet and a little spicy, it is made with Cabo Wabo Blanco Tequila, jalapeños, mango puree, triple sec, sweet and sour and fresh lime juice, served on the rocks.
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, spirits trailblazer and lifestyle trendsetter Sammy Hagar will be honored with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, April 30 in recognition of his five decades as a one of the most dynamic and successful rock artists of all time. In recognition of Hagar’s illustrious accolade, two of his premier restaurants, Cabo Wabo Cantina in Las Vegas and Cabo Wabo Beach Club in Huntington Beach, CA, will offer exclusive cocktails featuring his award-winning Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum and top-shelf Santo Spirits.
Located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Cabo Wabo Cantina will serve up the tiki vibes and rockin’ good times synonymous with the surname Hagar through two exclusive cocktails The Rock Star, a red tinged citrus delight made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Platinum Rum, orange curaçao, pineapple juice, grenadine and sweet & sour mix; and El Lucero, a cocktail that harnesses the power of Santo Mezquila, a collaboration with ceremony emcee Guy Fieri, combining it with freshly crushed jalapeños, orange and pineapple juices, chipotle pepper and agave for an on-the-rocks love affair with the Bajian peninsula.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will honor Hagar with the 2,779th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, April 30, at 11:30 a.m. PT at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard, adjacent to the iconic Amoeba Music. The ceremony will be emceed by Guy Fieri, Hagar’s partner in Santo Spirits, and feature guest speaker Grammy Award winner John Mayer, a longtime Hagar friend.
Cabo Wabo will be a first round pick for viewing this year’s professional football draft with mix-and-match beer buckets, from Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27. Each bucket will be priced at $25 and guests can mix-and-match bottled beer favorites such as Heineken, Heineken light, Dos Equis, Dos Equis Amber and Tecate.
With multiple large screen HDTVs, including a 200-inch video grid visible throughout the cantina, every seat at Cabo Wabo is a great seat. Guests can make their dinner roster selections from a tantalizing menu of shareables including Cabo’s nacho platter, made with a house cheese blend, jalapeños, queso sauce, cotija cheese, sour cream and guacamole; or the popular fundido de queso con chorizo, made with homemade pork chorizo on a bed of melted Oaxaca, Asiago, provolone and cotija cheese and served in warm cast iron skillet. Cabo Wabo will kick off the Irish-inspired fiesta with green beer and its Margarita Verde, available frozen or on the rocks and made with Sammy’s own Santo Blanco tequila, lime, fresh cucumber, and cilantro.
Specialty food options for the day include green enchiladas made with the choice between shredded chicken or beef, a house blend of Mexican cheese and smothered in a house-made green salsa verde; and Green tortilla chips served with the cantina’s famous house-made salsa, queso dip, or fresh guacamole. Patrons at Cabo Wabo can catch all the college basketball tournament action at Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ hotspot with viewing available throughout the four-week event. The cantina will be an ideal viewing spot for the tournament with all games being displayed on flat-panel, big-screen TVs, visible throughout the cantina. Viewing screens include a 200-inch video grid; a 200-inch projection screen; a 110-inch high-definition TV; two 80-inch high-definition TVs; and 25 75-inch high-definition TVs.
While watching the college tournament games, fans can stack their rosters with Cabo’s twist on classic courtside bites with high-quality casual Mexican and American fair. Offerings include carne asada tacos, corn tortillas topped with grilled steak, salsa arbol, avocado, cilantro and onions; the nacho platter, topped with a house cheese blend, beans, jalapeños, queso sauce, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole; and chicken wings, served with hot and spicy barbecue sauce and ranch dressing; among others.

Known for its wide selection of margaritas and tequila, Cabo Wabo will offer a three-margarita flight to toast the day, priced at $17.22. The flight includes three of Cabo Wabo’s signature margaritas, including the Cabo Wabo Margarita, crafted with Cabo Wabo Tequila, Grand Marnier and lime; the Cocorita, infused with Cabo Wabo Blanco Tequila, lime juice and crème of coconut; and the Strawberita, featuring Cabo Wabo Tequila, strawberry puree and lime.
Lovers, sweethearts and pairs of all sorts, get ready for a rockin’ Valentine’s week at Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino as the rockin’ cantina will serve a limited-time-only cocktail, the El Beso cocktail, available Monday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 18. To celebrate the season of love, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ spot will offer its limited-time-only El Beso, or The Kiss, cocktail made with Cruzan Strawberry Rum, Passoã passion fruit liqueur, soda water, strawberries and mint leaves, served in a 26-ounce hurricane glass ideal for two and priced at $19.

The rodeo finals are riding back into town and, to celebrate, Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will offer a nod to rodeo finals attendees with a limited-time-only bourbon flight, from Thursday, Dec. 7 until Saturday, Dec. 16.
The rockin’ Strip-side cantina offers panoramic views of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip from its outdoor patio and will be pouring a bourbon flight ‘covering’ any rider or fan. Priced at $28, the flight will feature four different bourbons ranging in finishes and tastes. The flight will be available for order all day at the restaurant and bar during the 10-day event. Also, available is the Troublemaker. Handcrafted with premium bourbon, Aperol, ginger ale and fresh lemon, the signature cocktail can be ordered by the glass or by the pitcher to share with a group of fellow rodeo fans.
To go with Cabo Wabo’s bourbon offerings, Executive Chef Tacho Kneeland will be preparing signature dishes such as the carne asada tacos, topped with salsa arbol, avocado, cilantro and onions on corn tortillas served with rice and beans; or the Jack and Coke BBQ bacon cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, a Jack and Coke BBQ Sauce, fried onions and pickles, served on a warm bun with crispy fries.
