Olé! Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with drink specials, live music and more on its Strip-side patio on Thursday, May 5.
Drink specials will include the Cabo flight, three sample shots of different Cabo Wabo tequilas, including blanco, reposado and anejo, priced at $21; a variety of ice-cold cervezas and signature margaritas including the mango picante margarita, a refreshing blend of jalapeño, mango, Cabo Wabo blanco tequila, triple sec and sweet and sour, priced at $14. Live music on the patio will begin at 7 p.m., and will continue late into the evening.
Cabo Wabo will also serve its signature Cabo San Lucas-inspired dishes including the nacho platter, crafted with a house cheese blend, refried beans, jalapeño, Cotija cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced at $14.95; and the grilled chicken tacos made with grilled chicken, salsa arbol, avocado, corn tortillas, cilantro and onions, priced at $14.95.

Cabo Wabo’s beer specials will include buy-one-get-one drafts of the Red Rocker’s signature Red Head beer, priced at $8; as well as an extensive selection of draft, domestic and imported beer. Cabo Wabo Cantina will host action-packed viewing parties for upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title fights, including one of the highly anticipated showdown between Rafael dos Anjos and Conor “The Notorious” McGregor in UFC 196 on Saturday, March 5, and the tension-filled battle between Daniel “DC” Cormier and Jon “Bones” Jones 2 in UFC 197, on Saturday, April 23.
UFC 196 will include a world lightweight title championship bout between dos Anjos and McGregor in Las Vegas. McGregor took the featherweight title in a record-breaking UFC 194 bout, and has moved up a weight class to challenge lightweight champion dos Anjos, making UFC 196 one of the most action-packed fights of the year. UFC 197 will feature a world light heavyweight title rematch bout between Cormier and Jones. Jones previously won the title against Cormier in January 2015, but was stripped of the title last April.
The championship bouts will be shown in Cabo Wabo’s private upstairs lounge, The LOFT, on numerous flat-panel big-screen TVs, including a 201-inch projector, a 192-inch flat screen and two 80-inch high-definition TVs. For an admission fee, guests will take in the Pay-Per-View fights while enjoying panoramic views of the Strip, beer bucket specials, signature cocktails and a full list of menu items available for purchase.
